Let me go ; I'm just as ugly as the other one. As the years have gone you've abandoned your own family. I haven't felt a connection since October of '10. Were just the abandoned ugly ones. I'm just as ugly.

I've been searching for the answers, but what I see is enough for me. You lied and cheated your way in and now you stand alone. A liar, a cheater, a piece of trash.

And if I die tonight, I'm not sorry for anything. No regrets in wanting to die. Bury me by the tree for I know that when I go you'll forget me like you've forgotten your own family.

Bash my head into the locker again. I've been outcasted since the beginning. Day after day I'd come home and wish I was gone. I am at rest now.

I've been struggling. I've been starving. Take the pill. Tie the noose, load the gun, be gone. I see the light, I see the dark. Be gone.

Rest, nest upon a tree. Suicidal thoughts got the best of you. The egg never hatched and showed it's true colors. Rest.

I would wait for you by the tree, but you would never answer my call. It took three years to let go ; Let go of you. You still cross my mind from time to time but for now I'm doing just fine.

Time never heals. I don't know where I'm going but I'm getting out of here. Houses are meant to be homes. This place is not my home. I am unwelcomed.
Today I uttered words I never thought I'd say. Goodbye. I'm not strong. I was never taught to be a man. I'm just the dust of the shell that I used to be.
But I am okay with death. No pain, no sorrow. I am finally free from this hell.

"Smith is very open about using the music as a conduit for
dealing with his depression, but the gentle nature of the music and the melody coming from Smith’s voice create a healing narrative that take the ugly and force it out of the shadows. Even on the darkest days there is sunshine after the rain."
